Kathryn and James, Fanhams Hall Wedding
What a wonderful wedding! Incredible, incredible stuff from start to finsh!
I’ve been really eager to share this with you.
I’ve known Kathryn and her family all my life as our mums have been friends forever, and it had been far too long since we had last met. What a privilege to be able to capture Kathryn get married to her childhood sweetheart, James, and for us to be invited to be part of their fantastic day.
Great that mum was able to do this with me too
The wedding took place at Fanhams Hall, Hertfordshire so it was a bit further a field than our usual and was great to visit somewhere new. The grounds are stunning so we were really lucky to get the weather we did to enjoy them.
Kathryn looked beautiful, especially with bump (their little baby girl is expected in December) and the green they chose for the bridesmaids was stunning. It was great to see the boys in tux too, a cool classic in my eyes.
The party was something else. A greek money dance (first I’ve ever seen), swing band and, well…half of the photos are of it! There is so much I could write up about for this day, but l’m going to let the photos talk now!
I do have to give a special mention though to Kathryns ninety-three year old grandmother, what a lady! She was there from start to end - a quick little power nap in the middle, and then partied the night away! I hope I can still be doing this then! Incredible.
Also, Bandit! Yay! I finally got to meet him. Their gorgeous golden lab, attending as ring bearer (and enjoying all the treats for doing so!).
Huge congratulations Kathryn and James, warmest wishes for your next exciting chapter. I hope you enjoy your photos today and for many years to come xx
