As a wedding photographer, 2023 has been a journey filled with love, laughter, and beautiful moments. Let's revisit some of the highlights…
This year we got to visit some amazing new venues - which is always really exciting. We also got to capture lots of weddings in familiar surroundings - heading back to some of our favourite spots.
I have loved that first looks and reveals have become more popular - the genuine emotions captured during the these have been incredible - I always get goosebumps and a lump in my throat - Witnessing these raw reactions and creating images that will be cherished for a lifetime.
We have captured so much unscripted fun, heartfelt hugs, and spontaneous dance moves.
Each wedding has had their own unique and intricate details that personalised their day. Handcrafted decorations and great ideas, It’s important to document this attention to detail that so much work goes into.
I absolutely love to document all the beautiful connections during a wedding celebration.
So many of the 2023 dance floors have been alive with energy, couples and their guests letting loose and having fun. These lively moments were amazing to capture and add to the story of celebration! I can’t wait to see what some of the parties of 24 hold. I know we’re set for some good ones!!
We were lucky this year to have many golden hour photo sessions - with some breathtaking backdrops too! I love when that light falls on my face - and I know it’s time to head straight out for the highlight photos.
Some 23 weddings had incredible surprises, from unexpected performances to heartfelt speeches. These unexpected moments added unforgettable moments to the celebrations.
2023 - A celebration of beautiful love stories. Each couple had a unique journey, and being able to document the beginning of their next chapter was a privilege and an honour as always.
A big thank you to my second photographer, who is also my mum, for allowing us to be in two places at once, and for capturing some amazing photos for our couples. I am very grateful for her support, talent and shared passion for photography.
I really look forward to capturing the couples that have already booked in 2024 and I’m excited to hear from some newly engaged couples that are now heading on the planning journey ♥️
